An afternoon with a beautiful stranger…

Having done with all the days of week and worshiping them today we turn our journey towards the new horizon where on can put his/her feelings which can be of learning experience to others. Any one who is interested to share the experience of life with others can mail  the same on our email, which will be analyzed and posted accordingly.

Lets start with one of the friend who shared the following feelings and tried to understand what is life.........................

It was a Friday afternoon in February; I remember I was just strolling in the park. My daughter was playing on swings & running around with her friends. I was enjoying the warmth of the sun rays.

Suddenly, I saw a beautiful girl sitting on the bench. She must be around 22-24 years old. She was wheatish in color & was wearing a long white skirt with pink top. She had her hair open with a lovely butterfly clip on left side. She had a book in her hand that she flipped through from time to time. She had a lovely smile & was watching kids playing there. She had something mesmerizing in her that I could not take my eyes off from her.

I sat down & looked at her again. I will say "Hi" if she looks here, I thought. She started reading her book, half looking around as if she was searching for something or someone. She had emptiness in her eyes, but her smile was constant & seemed genuine.

She smiled bigger whenever any kid passed by. Then one boy came running & asked her something. He stretched his hand to touch the butterfly clip. She smiled back & said something. Suddenly, that boy sat near her & held her hand & started doing something with her fingers. She kept looking at his innocence. Then they seemed to playing something. She seemed to enjoy & her eyes beamed with life & the emptiness seemed to fade away. She was so engrossed in all these that she herself became a small girl. The little boy got up realizing that his friends were waiting & he without saying anything ran away. And I heard her painful cry. I saw, that boy while running hurt her leg. I felt bad for her. She was crying & hiding her face.

I wanted to ask her but didn't feel appropriate. Beside me, my daughter's friend's mother was standing. I turned around & asked her if she knows that girl. She said yes with a sympathetic look at the girl. She told me that the girl has some serious problem with her leg. She used to run dancing classes earlier. And now she can't walk without a support. I saw, yes the stick was lying near her.

I kept on looking at her. She tried to hide her pain, but it seemed that she was in real pain. Then, I saw another girl coming towards her & held her. But the girl not wanting to take any support, tried to get up on her own. She could not. She kept sitting & waited for pain to subside, I thought. For a long time, she could not move. And then taking the support from other girl she got up & started to walk. She looked back at the same boy & lifted her arms to say "Bye". But the boy was busy playing & did not notice. She kept looking still for some time if he looks at her. But disappointed she slowly turned back & left.I then, was shook by my daughter. She asked if we can go back home. We left too.

I again went to the park next day, but did not see her. Not on Sunday either.

One day, while walking around colony, suddenly I saw that girl sitting beside the window & looking outside. The same girl but without that innocent smile now. There was emptiness in her eyes as if she had no zest for life. Again as if she is searching for something or someone, she used to lean forward each time a kid passed by.

I got to know later, that she could not move now.

Saturday/Shanivaar Chailsa/Aarti

Hi Friends,

It had been almost one month that we have posted any new post on my blog. North India is reeling under severe cold wave and also as the financial year is coming to close one hardly gets time, but there is a saying that "SHOW MUST GO ON", so by saying sorry amd belated Happy New Year we proceed to talk about Shani Bhagavan, one of the Navagraha. Shani is embodied in the planet Saturn. Shani is the Lord of Saturday. Shani is the elder brother of Yama and son of Surya.

Today we are posting some of his aarties and matras.

On Tuesday it is Lord Hanuman (one of the most important personalities in the Indian Epic, Ramayan) who is worshiped. He also goes by the name Bajrang Bali / Pawan Putra and is mostly remembered for the feat in Ramayan where he led the Vaanar (Monkey) Sena to Lanka to help Lord Ram rescue Sita Mata from Ravana.

He was a great devotee of Lord Ram.He is pictured as a robust monkey holding a mace (gada) which is a sign of bravery and having a picture of Lord Rama tattooed on his chest which is a sign of his devotion to Lord Rama.
